
Minji Cho
Minji Cho is a distinguished Korean traditional painter known for her innovative approach that merges traditional techniques with contemporary themes. Based in Seoul, Korea, she completed her Master’s degree at Dongguk University in 2015 and established her studio in 2016. Minji Cho has held several solo exhibitions, including “Who am I!?” at Ewha Art Center in 2016 and “Before the Eyes” at SPACE776 in New York in 2018. Her work has also been featured in numerous group exhibitions, such as the 2010 Buddhist Art Exhibition at the Buddhist Central Museum, the 2011 Asian Art Exhibition at Hongik University Museum of Contemporary Art, and the 2018 “Art on Terry” at Terry Art Fair in New York. Additionally, she has participated in major art events like the Aqua Miami Art Fair in 2018 and several exhibitions at Dongduk Art Gallery, including the “Fragrance of Buddha” in 2020 and the “Dong-Eum and Eeum Exhibition” in 2022.
